CARTER ALDERMAN
Hi, I'm Carter!
I am a graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering Tech with a focus in Computer Animation and Game Design. I specialize in creating storyboards, illustrations, and 2D hand-drawn animation.
For as long as I can remember, I've had an appreciation for cartoons and other forms of animation. The amount of joy that the shows I grew up with gave me inspires me to make something that will make others happy too.
Animation aside, I am well organized and go into any job with a can-do attitude. I'll give it my all to make sure any job given to me is finished on time and as perfect as possible.
PAST WORK EXPERIENCE
January 2024 - Present
SWEETS & GEEKS
As of Winter 2024, I am a Graphic Designer/Marketing Associate at a candy/pop culture store called Sweets & Geeks. It's my job to create fun and inviting graphics for the store's website, along with making posters and signs for our in-store events and sales.
September 2021 - November 2021
FUTAKU STUDIOS
For several weeks I did some animation work for Futaku Studios. I used ToonBoom Harmony to animate and color various scenes for an upcoming animated feature. Depending on the workload, I worked on my own and with groups of fellow animators. I always made sure to finish my work on time and stay on schedule.
March 2023 - June 2023
THE EXCHANGE
In the Spring of 2023, I worked for The Exchange as a Sales Associate. It was my job to patrol the store and assist any customer in need, answer phone calls, keep the shelves organized and clean, and occasional cashier work.
